A second shot showing one of the guys throwing himself off the defensive walls of Galle. The drop from the bastion to the water below is 80 feet.

The guy's plunge towards the water can be seen here and here.

The first shot is here.

Jonathan, c'est une belle prise ! Le paysage est superbe et le plongeur bien campé. J'aime beaucoup !

Hello Jonathan. Excellent timing, his body position in the air is just great. I think a crop of the rocks would be cool... so there is no hint of ground, just flying over the sea. nice job.

Hello Jonathan,
I like both this & yesterday's posts of the Galle 'sky divers'. This one's also very interesting, with the same great sharpness. But I prefer the previous one, maybe I think this guy is less stylish...
Good work.

Fillflash could get a better result with the kid image.. great timing man

hello Jonathan,
a superb capture of jump, with a fantastic background. I have to say, it creates some chill in me thinking about an 80 ft dive, specially around these big boulders,
nice shot!

Hi Jonathan, That’s sort of things I did when I was kid. It looks fun and exciting. Good silhouette / shadow view with beautiful background. Nice capture of the action.

Hej Jonathan,
You really have to be brave to throw yourself from so high. You captured this brave guy very well, he was in a very nice position here. Good work!

Hi Jonathan,
Lovely series of this boy jumping in the sky and into the water. I added one without the rocks.
Not to improve your series (how could I) but just I couldn’t resist the temptation. (I always do with this kind of pictures)

This kind of photos always has a joyfull effect on me, Jonathan. Very good framing and colors. Take care.

Another great shot of these divers! This one looks more like he fell from the sky, because he's higher in the frame. The first one had a more dramatic pose, but in this one the diver is positioned better. Both are great!

Hi Jonathan
A great shot and wonderful timing. The modelling and action are superb. The exposure is spot on. The use of fill in flash would have been of no use to you as flash doesn't fire off at 1/1600 s, so the suggestion by asival is rather strange. You could add it in on photoshop etc but that would spoil it in my opinion. The shot is great as it is. Well done.

wow .... it is a kid jumping off the cliff.
Very impressed with this powerful composition. viewers can feel the adrenalin rush just from ths kid suspended in the sky
very good work you have shown here
cheers .... sarju
PS: technically I won't classify this is a brilliant shot ... but the power induced in this photo from the height at which this guy is jumping from is tremendous ... good work you have shown here ... congrats

Hi Jonathan,
Welcome back!
Lovely shots of this kids flying over the water. It's really impressive the high from where they are jumping. This image give me a nice sensation of freedom. Very well done for this series!
