Photographer’s Note
A second posting from the World's End viewpoint. The first post is here. In this picture it is clearer how the cliff face drops dramatically to the valley over 800m below.

In addition to being continuously impressed by your traveling spirit and places you are seeing, I think that this is a good photo and a worthy add-on to your previous one from the same area. The framing is well made and afford a fine sense of depth above the grand scenery. The sheer drop of the cliff is indeed well shown here; I also like the barren trees sticking out at the top. Good shot, Jonathan.

Hello Jonathan,
Very beautiful landscape pic. I like the depth and the different elevations portrayed.
I'd like it better if you zoomed out a bit more so one can see bigger contrast made by that cliff on the right and the rest of the picture that is deep below it.
A very pleasant landscape pic.
Cheers,
CheukHin

Hi Jonathan, I am thinking about "I feel I can fly" when I see this picture. This is a beautiful shot with breath-taking view of the cliffs, and the layers of mountains together with the cloud below the view point. An excellent shot with nice contrast and depth. Well done.

Hi Jonathan, a beautiful composition with the three layers. The foggy horizon and the clouds above the lake make it very special.
Wonderful picture.
Thanks and regards, Gerrit

Another great shot from this view point! I like the inclusion of the cliff face on the right, which gives this a layered feel, with different elements at different depths. It works really well, and has incredible depth - it really feels like 3 dimenional. Great work!

This looks like a scene from Adam's Peak. I'm not sure if you went there, but that was another experience! 4 miles of steps. Still, the view was fantastic and not dissimmilar from this one. Like the clouds and mist in the valley. Great light and colour and nice contrast.
Cheers

Yes Jonathan, it's much more clearer, in this shot, the dramatically drop. Wonderful framing with the attractive vertical green cliff at the right side and the dark one at the left. Good balance of lighting with the beautiful view downthere not beeing too much overwxposed and nicely done with the blue sky in the top. Well done!

Hi Jonathan - while the misty bright version had an element of mystery, I prefer this one because the details on the lowlands are clearly defined.

Hi Jonathan,
A simple but very effective composition. One gains a real sense of depth and dimensions here. The side cliff plunges so vertically, yet is cloaked in greenery, which enhances the balance of the frame, with its misty and silhouetted overtones. I like the lines and graphics here. The distant bodies of water further enhance and the DOF allows one to see far into the distance. Well conceived and captured, Jonathan.

Hi Jonathan,
Great composition. I like the clouds we see in the valley. They give us a real sensation of hight.

Hi Jonathan,
I nearly missed this one in your gallery! I think the name of this place is quite appropriate and it really looks like you're standing at the end of the world. I like the blue dominant color and the misty background that create great depth in the photo. Nice foreground with the cliff and the dead tree and the top right. I wish you a great month of February and look forward to seeing more of your photos when I come back.
Regards, Brigitte
