Photographer’s Note
I took this whist passing a group if tea pickers in the beautiful hill coutry of Sri Lanka.
It was quite hurtful when I found out that these women get paid on average £2/day for this backbreaking work. It really is amazing that I pay nearly the same amount for just 1 cup in London.
