Photographer's Note
Wadduwa, Western Sri Lanka...
Locals tie big ropes between the palm trees, and an athletic man climbs them each day, goes from one tree to another, cutting coconuts and extracting its nectar. This process creates an opportunity for fruit bats which visit fruits and plants to lick their nectar.

HI Erdem
Lovely capture of this scene, a very informative shot and i love your pov and close crop. A strong picture with interesting focal of interest, his stride is so effective. Impressive compostion and good framing within. This man is an astonishing acrobat with the risks he takes daily walking on tightrope but this his routine and part of his daily life. I like the ideas instead of climbing from tree to another, its definately a painstaking task and with this makes his life a bit easier. Excellent good reportage shot, it has that extra pictorial narrative element. Congrats,
Best regards
