Taken at the beach near Negombo, 30 kilometers away from Sri Lanka's capital Colombo. Guess this might have been there last summer at this beach. Wish them well.

As with my comment to Chris, horrific to contemplate the devastation brought to these once beautiful settings for these communities. These shots bring it home to us even, a very appropriate posting, and a nice shot.

This is a very appropriate post and a very beautiful photo to boot. It really accentuates the tragedy to see those beautiful boats with their splendid sails and all those happy fishermen, and to imagine that they and their owners may now have been destroyed and killed by the tsunami. I miss information on your camera.
