Photographer's Note
Riding the slow trains is one of the many pleasures of travelling in Sri Lanka.
---
This picture was taken on that famous hill country train from Haputale to Ella, choogling through tea planations and greenery. This particular stretch of rails is pretty popular with tourists, and rightly so.
---
Ella is a small village up in the hill country. It's in a very beautiful area with great walks in the surrounding countryside. There are plenty of guesthouses and it's also one of the best places in the country for food.
Haputale is another hill country town. Though there are some excellent hotels and guesthouses, it is less touristy than Ella, a bit rougher as well.

so many train song titles to pick from...train kept a rollin'...?

Hi Benny!
I really like pictures taken from a train while it's going on a curve! Most of the times, the results are great and that's the case here!
I love it!
Special regards to the chosen pov, composition, colors and management of light!
TFS - congrats,
Cheers,
Neyvan

Hey Benny,
interesting composition with the addition of this onlooker. The curve of the railroad track is really pleasant in the image and the selective depth of field helps us to focus on the passenger.
OK, my contribution: Blue Train? Well with all this green...maybe not the most apt title...;-)

Hi Benny
A nice picture with a wonderful POV. I like the train entering to the jungle with the guy on the foregroung. Colors and light are beautiful, it is a good scene of life.

Hello Benny,
Nice photo, good composition. In analogue situations, I sometime waited for a curve or someone to pop up before me. You got both! Well planned, well framed, and taken at the best moment in the curve. Narrow depth of field with focus on the man works well; the train is still clearly visible while the passenger is put forward (helped by the contrasting white shirt).

Claude

Hi Benny,
Great composition. The idea is very good and you made it perfectly. Very good focus on the man and nicely blurred in other parts of the picture.

Hello Benny,
VEry good composition with the curved showing the train and making it entering inside the forest.
Good idea as well to get a narrow deep of field to give depth and to put in evidence the guy partly outside the train.

Hello Benny,
You're capturing well this scape by a good angle, good focus and excellent tone/clarity. So, it's impressive and interesting to see a tasteful train and surrounding green nature. You catch well curved line in this image, too. And, it gives additional good effect for a man standing and watching forward.
Colors is harmonized well.
