Galle is the main city on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It is famous for its old colonial architecture and its 17th century Dutch fort. The Galle fort is a world heritage site and the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers.
This picture was shot from a rooftop restaurant within the fort area. On the left is Galle's trademark lighthouse, on the right is the mosque.

You have posted a number of very interesting pictures while I've been travelling for the last few weeks. It's amazing that you visited Qatar in July. Preparing yourself for the World Cup of 2022?
This picture has a very attractive and discreet colour scheme featuring some fine nuances of basically grey and red. The spectacular cloud provides a fine background to the well placed lighthouse and mosque.

ride the rainbow..cross the sky...ah, now that is a song I have not heard for a long time. An appropriate title to the impending storm. A really nice profile of some of the city too, the light is great.

Nice capture of the stormy clouds. The clouds seems angry there and is so low. The monuments there are nice. Nice exposure on such a cloudy atmosphere. Nice capture,
have a great time
