Not much of an expert on flowers. So I've no idea what this one's called. This was one of my 1st attempts in taking macro shots. Unfortunately the lighting conditions werent ideal.

Sri Lanka is the place where I would like to go decidedly :o)
The framing here isn't very good. This beautiful flower shouldn't be cut. The picture could be bigger (max 800 pixels). But colours are really fantastic here.

I like the way you have captured the delicate colours on the flower and used the power of depth of field to put the backgropund out of focus and make the flower stand out. Very pleasing picture to look at.
