Photographer's Note
Worshipers are drawn to the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy to pray before a relic, a tooth of the Buddha. Intricately carved moonstones were traditionally placed at the entrance to temples to serve as foot cleanres.

Hello Ryno - Having been to the Temple of the Tooth and experiencing first hand how difficult it is to take good photographs there, I think you have come up with a fairly good shot here. The women's colourful clothing stands out well against the dark BG and I love the inclusion of the moonstone. I had forgotten the importance of these architectural gems. Warm regards rosemary
