Photographer's Note

I'm currently in Sri Lanka on work and the hotel I'm staying in borders the Amaya Lake, a huge man-made reservoir. This is Dambulla, considered to be Sri Lanka;s dry zone, where the rainfall is much lower than the national average and rain occurs very rarely. Yesterday though, the weather suddenly turned stormy and wind picked up...it became an intense atmosphere that I was able to capture on my walk around this lake. The two fishermen setting out on their dangerous journey to make their livelihood, in my opinion, gives this picture an added significance. The only way to balance the light was to use my ND Grad (4 stop) filter. Let me know what you think of this shot.
