“Changdeokgung built in 1405-1412, burnt to the ground during 1592 Japanese invasion and rebuilt in 1609. Throughout history damaged and reconstructed few times it is still in it’s original shape and beauty. Palace has been used by royal courts and has been the seat of government until 1872.”
Second post of palace guards. Look at very serious face, bow and arrows and few “sharp objects” – some lurking in the folds of his coat. I think it means that this side gate is not the one to use this time. You better go to the big one with ticket collectors waiting for you. Unforgettable place well worth a visit. |
