Those Shadowy Extensions Photo

Photographer’s Note

Kinda following on from my shot where I took a shot from behind a group of people observing a laser show, this one is from a music and dance show. I wasn't too fussed by the music and dancing and almost put away my camera until i saw the amazing shadows of the people when the lights were turned up. Kinda looks like some kind of alien image if you ask me!

I opted to crop out what the people were looking at as i wanted your undivided attention aimed at the onlookers.

This is an interesting composition. A silluete from a group of people... their shadows... peolpe sit in the chairs... and a show going on... Well done!

This shadows is very well done, specialy in B&W. This remember me some picture from 60s in a concert of the Beattles. Feelling added maybe by the air cut.

First of all, excellent, Will. I notice two things of late: you're going dep into BW why not?) and exporing the confines of the vertical format (and doing a damn good job with it). It feels like a bit of a Jinju phase but with your own distinctive stamp on it.
Nice work, man. Classy - those looooong shadows are ace.

very good eye....the long shadows work very well and the contrast is perfect...
the 5 figures on the top are pefectly placed in the compo..
