Photographer's Note
Found an interesting looking tunnel the other day whilst waltzing around looking for thins to photo. It's an old brick tunnel that goes under the train line and is used by both pedestrians and traffic.
I like the green colours of the bricks in this one lit up by the overhead lights. It might have been better if I'd captured the man when he was closer to the camera though. Oh yes, and it would be nice to be able to show this photo bigger, but i'm at the 800 pixels.

hol smokes thats the coolest tunnel Ive seen. It has a great green color too, it looks more like a military tunnel running to a bunker. Great placement of the guy.

Hi Will,
Like a stage from a movie, this tunnel is to good to be true. The green dominant is absolutely gloomy and beautiful at the same time. You were right down on the pavement to catch this superb shot and the effect is striking, with a stronger perspective.
I like it a lot!

Hello Will,
Excellent point of view!! I love this "cinema" effect. It makes this tunnel deep and mysterious... playing with the light and the textures of its wall... Excellent shot!! Goes directly into my favorites!

Will - The green-ness in this shot is what really sells it for me... the angle and compo are good, but much atmosphere is i the green quality.
Rather Matrix-esque, even!
Regards.
Dave.

Hello Will,
This is such a scary picture. The green tint and the lights on the ceiling give this a horror movie feel. In fact it reminds me of the "Hostel" or "Saw". Good shot nevertheless, the lighting and POV are excellent.

cool. I like this one better than the other tunnel shot as the low angle really accentuates the mood. the only thing I think that could improve this is a foreground something. I see it with feet just coming into fram on the left side...
Well done Will. Nice gallery btw.

Hi Will, i thought it was the first time i visit your gallery but i saw the "three bodies" picture that on which i had left a comment :)
Interesting introduction page, i recognize myself in it : me too i'm learning to include human, souls in my compositions ... difficult job and unending process cause i was so attracted first by landscapes and urban architecture shots !
This picture is very nice, kind of shot i love with a huge perspective, a mysterious atmosphere and a strange green cast that is due to artificial light.
I guess the best picture would have been a mix of the twos i see : This one for the perspective and for the idea to put down on floor the cam and the other one for the position of the human : nearer to the cam.
Very nice work there

Gheesh, ominous looking tunnel. This looks like part of a horror movie set or something, not a local neighbourhood underpass. The greenish grey really converys that feeling. I like your low POV as it makes the tunnel look bigger then it is.
Cheers,

A very shot ambiance shot: i like the variety of grey/green tonality.

Hi Will.
I like it. I like how you get us "into" the picture throught the tunnel. Furthermore, the man is also a nice idea in the picture.
Well done!
