Photographer’s Note
In case you are interested, Ulsan is the industrial capital of Korea. These magnificent structures are littered across part of the city and at night it looks like Christmas everyday.
In this shot, standing 50 meters in front of this towering petrochemical plant, I was in awe of the sound, the sight, and the atmostphere that was projected onto my senses. It sounded like hundreds of steel workers hard at work and the train letting off steam every minute, it looked like a highly sophisticated space station possibly human-made, it felt like I was wondering around in a Speilberg sci-fi movie.
Tech: tungsten WB, long exposure, 5 shot HDR.

Hi Bennett
Nice comp and very sharp. Almost a b&w. You sure captured some interesting images at this plant. Well done.

I liked the technical features of your picture, as well as the cool tourquise color. Were the lamps arc lights so that the tungsten WB came out blue? Or was the color just blue?
