Photographer’s Note

this is the big golden buddha near my house. i stop by there on my way to work and often say hello or take a few photos.

on this day, the sky was a beautiful blue, so i wanted to take a photo of the buddha and make the most of the contrasting gold and blue colours.

as usual, your buddha shots show fine detail and colour. as usual, your use of sky as a background has worked really well, with that deep blue contrasting very well. as usual, nothing spectacular but still a nice job..

Welcome back..it is good to see you posting again.
Picking up right where you left off with a compelling 'in your face' buddha face. There is nothing subtle about this. It is a fine piece of eye candy which demonstrates the benefit of getting up close with your subject.

I like the brilliant colors of this shot. However your sharpenning process added a more clear area at the limit of the Budda.
