Photographer's Note

Youngdo Bridge is in Busan, & seen here from the Busan Tower. I liked the warm cold color opposition of orange & blue, & the repetition of the boats in the harbor. Check Trek Lens for a closer view of the bridge. I may add a link later.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the construction site in the bottom of the picture going to be the site of the new Lotte Tower? When completed in 2008, it's going to be Korea's tallest building! Did you happen to take a walk around Youngdo harbor when you were in Busan? It's an older part of Busan and contains a lot of interesting rusting ships.

I like how you have captured the boat just about to go under the bridge.
Well framed too with the water across the middle.

Hi Chris,
This is an impressive capture, my friend... with many interesting stories to tell!
I like how the main road is winding into the scenery after crossing the bridge, I also like to notice there is a big construction project on the way in front...
The busy river making a strong diagonal in the image, which is very well composed and with some great details!

Hi Chris,
The red bridge stands out from this overlooking PoV, I guess it will be completely out of sight one the big tower is completed. I appreciate here that you went for a skyless view, better none than this ugly sky that seems to be common over Busan !

Hi Chris,
I went in this tower few years ago, it's a perfect place to take photos. Sadely when i went there the sky was very cloudy and the light very bad. So i'm happy to enjoy the view with your pictures. Thanks.

Hi Chris,
Another magnificent view over Busan, with another impressive graphical result. The bridge is indeed the main attraction here, as well as the river scene, but I also love the result pattern of the buildings in the background. Thanks also for the TL link connection. I loved it.

The bridge is very striking as it contrasts so well with the predominant blue colours. The road across it is an excellent lead-in line into the heart of the image.

Again an interesting aerial view, Chris. In this one the diagonal of the bridge makes a good detail to structure the frame, and timing-wise it's nice to have the boat just about to pass underneath. It's evident that a lot of construction and modernization is in progress.

Interesting view of the bridge, the port and the city. I like the contrast betweem the busy city and the and the calm river. I agree wit you about the contrast of colors, and the way the color of the bridge is the only warm color in this picture.

Nice shot of the town and the bridge, which as you say, really stands out because of the bright and warm colour. The collection of boats in the harbour adds a lot to the scene as well. Great work!

A sprawling view of a grey concrete jungle in the making. Not that I'm a tree hugger Chris but one thing for sure, this is one city,where tree is on the verge of extinction. Looked so dry and unlively.

Hey Chris. I may be wrng but I dont think I am. The most inteersting part of this shot is the construction lot because that is where the world's 2nd tallest building will be built. Very nice view from the top.
