Photographer’s Note
I was on a weekend workshop in Seoul last week. We planed in on Friday and we spent the whole afternoon going to some places of interest in Seoul. This was one such place.
They call it the Folk Village. I saw a lot of old palaces and houses. We also saw authentic Korean culture. I was so desperate for a good shot but the freezing weather and the lack of good human subjects were the main obstacles. Then came along this opportunity. In one of the old palaces, looking through the archway was an "artist" at work. He was so busy to notice me. Notice the ice on the bottom left. It was so COLD I have to wear gloves (though I had to take them off whenever I shot pictures).
Auto-adjustments, unsharp-masking.

Very nice. Very crisp and nice colors. I like the looking through the door feel. It's like looking at a picture here. I also like seeing the other photographer lined up directly with you and looking perpendicular to you. My eyes goes directly up and then feels like moving in the direction he is facing. It's a tease like what is he looking at in there. Very nicely done. Great job.

Lovely shot. I love your framing! You chose a "natural" framing instead of adding one later. Well done!

Dear Manny, very nice that you got the artwork on the top. The steps have hotspots. For the composition I don't like that he is standing right in the middle. On the other hand I like that we don't see what he is shooting, a little riddle :)

Great photo. I really like the angle and the perspective in this shot. Lovely colors too, and nice frame.

nice picture, and shooting people taking pictures is fun. I am not a big fan of such a central composition, but the man is nicely framed, just those stairs are overexposed, but it is a minor issue. nice shot. and I guess taking pictures with people in Korea is more diffcult than in Thailand or Philippines..

Manny superb. A good TE shot. You have choosed the right angle. I think the picture would also nice without the man. But it is a good detail to put the man in your picture. Good job.

This photo reminds me very much my Italian version ,the simmilarity is amazing. This guy doesn't look like he's bothered by the cold. I like the point of view and the architecture. Nice one, Manuel, and a bit different from your usual line.

It's a simple, but fun idea and a good use of perspective, Manny. The photographer is nicely framed below the arch, and the architectural details are well seen both in the foreground and background. Nice colors as well. I'm adding this into my "artists at work" theme.

Good shot, Manuel. I like the colours and architecture of the village, and the way you have used it as a natural frame to your shot. The photographer makes it more interesting. Well seen.

It's a great job at framing and cropping. And different from your usual style. Next time try summer ;)

I did not recognise this as one of your photos. Composition is great and the man stands nicely in the light. The detail above the arch is lovely.

Well seen and well framed Manny. Like looking through a window. Mabye you could have taken a step or two to the right to have him placed a bit more off center, and also leave out the stairs. On the other hand, having him placed in the center puts a lot of focus on him and he becomes the center of attention.

Ce n'est pas l'arroseur arrosé, mais le photographe photographié !
La composition est très réussie.
It is not the sprinkled sprinkler, but the photographer photographed! The composition very is successful.

Very nice captured, Manuel. I like your framing and the note. Center subject works well here. Did he also capture you while you're shooting at him? :D Nice shot.

Very strange image. For me it looks like two frames on a film changing each other. To complete the effect one might add perforation on both sides.
