Life on Seoul's metro means a nap, play games on your tablet, surf the web, check your phone again, and again, chat to friends, study for the exam, catch up on paperwork, stare into the middle distance, perhaps even wonder why the foreigner is fiddling with his camera...
Seoul is such a big city, that often a good part of one's day is spent on this ultra modern, efficient and reliable transport, and it's best to make the most of the time.

namaste, here we can see an interesting composition. Three different women with three different facial expression. The lady in middle with a fair expression, busy with her mobile but simultaneously had a look to probably you. The lady at right is enjoying the presence of someone standing beside her. And the very important lady is sitting in the left of the frame is watching your activities through her sunglasses with a curious expression suppressing it under her goggles. A nice daily life catch. Good work with monochrome. Enjoyed it very much. Tfs.

A very attractive group portrait, showing three totally different moods. Glad You made it in B&W!

I think we're looking at a surreptitious grab shot here. And judging by your note, your "fiddling" with the camera, presumably on your lap, has given us this neat "tranche de vie". Oddly my last posting is similarly taken on the sly, and I asked in my note how other TE members react to this sort of "intrusion". You're a past master of the art of candid street photography; maybe it's just a matter of brass neck. Our subjects are in a public space and thus fair game!
By the way, I like it!

very intelligent shot!!!
I think In the Seoul subways, the people of Seoul look like taking a lot of things too seriously as if there is any levity at all.
For these reasons, it was relevant about latest smartphone, asset fortune, level of education, apartment brand name and size, beauty treatment, old life preparation , insurance etc......
They have so much complex.

I like this shot in that it shows 3 very different attitudes to the photographer. The lady on the right is my favourite. It seems like you shot this without bringing the camera up to your eye? Would I be right? If not, then you are so brave taking a shot like this in such obvious conditions. Anyway, excellent B&W contrasts and the BG sense of movement from the other train is a nice touch too. Thanks for sharing.
Have a lovely evening
