Photographer’s Note

A view through some of the 15000 pine trees on this attractive rocky headland overlooking Ilsan Beach in Baengojin, Ulsan. I've dodged the fg slightly to bring out more detail on the grasses. Ulsan is usually described as an ugly, polluted industrial city, but the evening skies were clear & beautiful.

A nicely atmospheric sunset with the pine trees making an attractive frame in the top half of the image. Pleasing golden reflections in the slightly rippling waters.

Hi Chris,

The sunset is giving nice colors to the sky, the sea and a set of shadows to the trees. The point of view leads our eyes toward the buildings and mountains which is giving depth to the composition. Well done, have a nice day.

From a well chosen pov you have framed that area in a way that when I looked at it, it does not give me the feeling of an ugly and polluted area/city ;) I like to see those trees on top dominating the view at sunset time.

what a sunset moment! trees silouette is good to support the blue sky and golden sunset light. no need to show the whole sun, it still a nice moment to catch!

We can't see the ugliness in this light, just the gorgeous colours. The silhouetted branches fill in the sky nicely and the dodging has worked well in the foreground.

Kod nas je dobro vece.
Kisa od sinoc neprekidno pada, danas je bio i jak vetar.
Dobra kompozicija, dobre boje i trenutak snimka.
Svidja mi se fotografija sa pogledom kroz borove na mesto i nebo sa suncem. Lepa je.

beaucoup de calme et de romantisme dans cette scène bien cadrée et aux lumières douces.
Le format verticla lui va très bien et les couleurs sont assez séduisantes. Un peu trop de netteté dans les branches
