Photographer’s Note
"Boseong County (Boseong-gun) is a county in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. Boseong is famous for its green tea leaves. It is also the birthplace of the Korean independence activist Philip Jaisohn."

I had some delicious green tea icecream at the restaurant at the bottom of these green hills.
From 'Korea Spakling' website:
"The Boseong Dawon Tea Plantation is on the southwest coast of the Korean Peninsula. The temperate climate of this region is ideal for green tea cultivation. This plantation was established in 1957 with rolling hills reaching heights of 350 meters. For those visitors hoping to see some of the filming locations of commercials and TV miniseries, it will take approximately one hour. The ideal months to visit are May-August."

I like this "green everywhere" view, Chris, esp. the patterns of the lines in fg, nicely captured from the side. Very good depth. Maybe I'd try a very slight crop from the top, for an enclosed frame. Rgds, Daniel

A lovely use of shapes and perspective for this well composed image Chris, Maybe a bit overexposed but probably is just a scanner setting problem, the final picture still lovely, compliments!!!
have a nice weekend,
Fabio.

Hi Chris. I have the impression that the light was not optimal, but nevertheless you managed it nicely here. I love how you composed this; it's a real festival of curves, lines and dynamics. Moreover: I think it is difficult to find so many varations of green in one shot. Have a nice weekend!

What a nice movement and what a neat plantation ! I saw some tea gardens in north east Turkey not a long time ago but the general view was totally different... Lovely curves and intersting photo, the light seemed a bit blinding !
TFS, Have a good Sunday,

Hola Chris.
Nice shot with green tones and curved lines, I love green tea, drink a cup every day. Good high POV and frame. Maybe some lack of texture on the leaves but it doesn't change the splendid composition.
Well done.
Best wishes.

Namaste Chris
Looks like rice terraces, except of course the shapes of the plants are different. The terraces snaking towards the Bg along the slope of the hill creates depth & also looks beautiful. I never heard of green tea icecream...must be delicious!

I'm just going through some of the photos that I missed while I was away, and this one really caught my eye. The lines of the field are incredible, with nice patterns and curves, and I find that they just draw me into the scene. Nice eye to be able to compose this so well.
