Photographer’s Note
The summit of this dormant marine volcano is 179 metres above sea level (last active 5000 years ago). This is about 160 metres. The town is also known as Sungsam Ilchulbong or 'first sunrise'. It's the most eastern point of Jeju Island.

Hello Chris,
You present us with a deep plunging view along this beautiful coastline. I like the dark and light green tonal contrasts, whilst the people walking up the steps give a good sense of scale. Very good sharpness throughout.

Hi Chris
It must be interesting to see a real volcano. The view is just great and the POV gives a good idea of the surrounding area.

Hi Chris,
The presence of the people has an effect of scale. The diagonal line of the stairs is an asset to the composition. The downward point of view leads our eyes toward the city and the sea. The picture is clear and precise. The quality of the light is enhancing the colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.

Hi Chris. What a man has to do for photography! That looks like a very strong climb. I think it was worth the effort and the view is quite warming in this period (now freezing in Belgium). TFS and have a great day.

Beautiful shot, and one with a definite sense of depth or 3 dimensions. We can follow the stairs from the foreground all the way around to the more distant hills and finally down to the town. Nice work!

Hello Chris,
The town itself appears to becoming a modern town as the image shows. The volcano is a predominate point and I imagine after viewing your image that the trail's fauna is most spectacular.
Well Captured...

Hi Chris,
Interesting the contrast between the nature in front the view on the city behind. Your choice here for a picture without horizon is a good one here.
Seems a nice walk to me too.
