Photographer’s Note
Jeju Island off the extreme south coast of South Korea is discribed as 'Korea's Hawaii'. Having not been to Hawaii I can't say if it is true, however I would say that if it is true, say your money on the trip. Other than being formed by a volcano, (Hallasan...Halla Mountain), and being somewhat tropical, I don't see much of a comparison.
One interesting is the proliferation of DOL-HA-REU-BANG or grandfather rocks, which have striking similatities with those famous statues on Easter Island.
On Jeju, these statues range in size, from the 30cm ones in this picture, to 3 to 4 meter monsters.

Great capture of these statues. Any idea when they were created? Composition, light, DOF are excellent.
