Photographer’s Note

The view from my school at Macheon, last Fall / Autumn. The green rice has turned to yellow, & has been harvested, leaving bare earth. Some of the trees are changing colour to yellow & red. There is a small stream bottom left reflecting blue skylight.

Lots of rice fields around the school but it seams that they also grow other things in green houses. I like the many colours in your picture which is a real sign of the Autumn season. The POV is very good too with the bottom third very horizontal and the mountain going up on very nice diagonal.

Hello Chris,

The use of terraces to maximize hilly space is very effective here. I do like the landscape and the soft colours of the fall season here. I just wonder if they get snow in this place. Nice light and excellent diagonals created by the hills in the background. Cheers!

Bonjour Chris,
c'est curieux, mais je reconnais de suite tes photos, à leurs lumières et à leur tonalité. Toujours tournées vers une légère surexposition, noyant certains contrastes.
Un ble endroit qui a l'air vraiment calme.

A very picturesque place. We see terrace farming being used here, though the slope is very gentle. Nice autumn colours on the trees. Are those structures next to the stream greenhouses?
