Photographer’s Note

It was 2am and cold outside but I couldn't fall asleep so what the heck..grabbed my camera and tripod and ventured out.

Came back with this....

..which turned out to be my fav scene thus far this year, from the petrochemical industrial complex in Ulsan. The pipes...oh the pipes! A tribute to H. R. Giger perhaps...

Something a little unusual for you trekkie eyes.

Hi Bennett very special result of those stainlessteel pipes seem like giants tentacle of a steel beast, real great done wonderfull sharpness and compo.Good one.Alain. Industrial complex are a great place to do some special pict. And the B/W really does it.

I am not fan of urban/industrial images, but - this one got my attention as a thumbnail - and I am happy to have opened it. Excellent capture with fantastic details, there is just so much to see!
Your conversion of it to B&W makes it look like one of Escher's famous drawings.

Hi Bennet,
I just love it. Very original, going from left to right and back again.
The compo is as simple as the plant is difficult to understand for outsiders. Really sharp and good DOF as well.
