Photographer’s Note
Coastal life in Korea presents many interesting sights and sounds, however it is a tough life both at sea and at bay. After the fishing boats had already docked and unloaded their catch from the day the next assignment is to sort and clean all the nets for the next morning. Dealing with this task can get a little overwhelming, thus I tried to represent that state of confusion in this shot.

HO! No comments! Woah...
You certainly got the confusing part into the shot as there is not much more but confusion to the whole. It is actually quite far removed from usual sensory shapes which plays fun tricks on the mind... like for example the shape in the back is easily read as a man with a hood, and then not, and then again. Neat!
With your smooth shot you've really made the net into just a mass of light that indeed does seem unmanageable. I wonder if this character will ever be able to sort out the net... no wonder fish get caught in it! :D
I like it, simply because it is a mixture of recognisable shapes and ones that have passed wholly into the abstract form. A perfect image of the sea where reality and abstraction are always next to one another.
TFS!

Lets have a walk inside Your image, Bennett, jumping from one shape to another, sliding down the nets, but catching only light areas and then gradually making transfer to the dark side...Personally i dont see the confusion, only harmony and perfect equilibrium between the forms and light. Beautiful almost abstract piece of art goes to my favorites.
