Photographer’s Note
A departure from the norm tonight as I decide to post something a little abstract. The concrete wall is a man-made levee protecting the shipyards and the metal ladder is there so that fishermen could get over the wall. The glow in the sky is from the shipyard which was in full operation late into the night. This was a 2 minute exposure taken around midnight in tungsten mode and the colours came out a little whacky which is why I find it interesting.
The only thing I wished for(to improve the photo) was the inclusion of a human element. However with such a long exposure I am not sure it would turn out very well. Still, I might try it later.

Abstract indeed but excellent.
The black frame has real value here.

Hi,
Turned out really well, good play with colours. It's produced a very solid image, the curve of the wall aids the perspective. Very enjoyable. Thanks.
Dougie.

Beautiful shot, Bennett, comosed "just so", love the saturated colors and the different tetures: roughness f the wall against the smoothness of the sky.
Nice one!

hello Bennet,
I like the colour, perfect timed. Gives a real empty feeling, escaping , ... the unknown on the other side
greetings, inn
