Hello Chris,
A good capture of this memorial against an interesting sky. The silhouette is well captured with some detail still visible. Tones are excellent.

Olá Chris, an attractive strong perspective with a wonderful sky as a background. Good contrasts resulting in a beautiful graphic image. I specially like the detail on top. I wonder if there's an interior that can be visited as well as those bridges...
Have a nice week,

Hi Chris,
the POV with the view up and the great light make this one very attracting, I like the blue changing to this red and pink. Well done to keep this memorial alone.

Salut Chris,
Une bien grande image pour honorer tous ces étudiants et civils tués. De bonnes couleurs des nuages mettent mieux en valeur l'obélisque. C'est très bon !

Youve shot the monument in a creative way - on the angle like that. The sky of course is the key to why this shot is such a winner.
Congrats!

Hello Chris,
In the random order that you've selected for your images to appear on your 'Overview page', this extraordinarily powerful monument came up. It reminded me of one of the four memorials in Galipoli (in this instance, the Turkish) where the lives of our respective ancestors intersected, and resulted in transformative results for both. I don't have a scanned formed of the slide that I could share with you, but I did write about it right after my father passed away in early 2003. if you have time, take a gander at the story as it appears at my website, " as a testimonial...". But in seeing this image, I've decided to locate the slide and post it in the website, and perhaps on TE.
Warm regards from Virginia,
Bulent
