Photographer’s Note
An overview of the South Korean city of Gwangju, from my air conditioned hotel. From Wikipedia:
'Gwangju Metropolitan City is the sixth largest city in South Korea. (2006) 1,415,953. Gwangju is a designated metropolitan city under the direct control of the central government's Home Minister. The city was also the capital of South Jeolla Province until the provincial office moved to the southern village of Namak, Muan in 2005.'

Hi Chris,
Quite an amazing mix of structures you've manage to catch in one image. From local shop to religious building (or maybe its just a theme hotel?) and then that big (is best) Hi-Tech giant. Not easy to frame and you've done it well.
Regards, David

Hi Chris,
Fascinating mixture of ,most ugly, architectural styles. Yet gives the combination if colors and forms a beautiful picture.

Hi Chris
Nice urban scene. I like the framing but I would like the colors more vivid.

Hi Chris,
Once again, I find all your photos so interesting - the ones from Mongolia (for instance) because they make me dream, while the ones from south Korea because they remind me of my travels there (on my way up and down to Japan)... I stayed in Gwangju but have no remembrance of this kind of architecture, the building on the right with the golden bulbs is particularly interesting - and I find this sort of anarchy in city planning totally fascinating, there is so much to observe ! Great POV from your hotel room...
TFS,
Cath.
