The subway in Seoul is like the arteries carrying the lifeblood of the city. Seoul has a huge metropolitan population of over 24 million, and the merto system is amazingly efficient and safe and ultra modern, a transport model for other countries to learn from.
People spend a lot of time on the subway, they read, sleep, socialise and work here.
