Photographer’s Note
The LAX Los Angeles midnight flight to Seoul, Korea (Incheon International Airport) arrives at about 5am. Our Boeing 767 (I think) taken just after deplaning. A marvel of technology and another testament to homo sapien ingenuity, it's still a nightmare in the economy compartment pack full of hundreds of people. The picture looks as I felt.
Unfortunately, this is the only photo of the new Incheon International Airport I took. You can view a satellite image here at Google Earth: http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&ll=37.465594,126.56868&spn=0.126441,0.346069&t=k&z=12&om=1. The airport is on a natural island made larger by landfill. So it is partly natural and especially where the runways are, man made. It is connected to the mainland by a long bridge. There are a lot of land to be developed and being developed. Between the island and the mainland is a mud-flat exposed when the sea level declines. Very scenic.
Post Photoshop: Cropping and other light processes.
