Dodong Harbour from the Cablecar Photo

Photographer’s Note

Dodong Harbour & the Haengnam Lighthouse, taken from the cablecar terminus. The lighthouse is the tiny white dot, in the middle of the picture, at the top of the spur. The black stuff around the rock groyne at right, is kelp, a type of seaweed.

Here's a closer view of the Haengnam / Dodong lighthouse.

The cablecar is called Haedoji.

South Korea looks like it's got a spectacular coastline with gorgeous deep blues and forest greens. I love the two boats roaring away from the coast. Excellent downward POV to get this.

What is a view. The optic angle superb, the beautiful colours add a lot to the mood of this romantic place. Very spectacular, the buildings line up after each other in the narrow valley. Great shot. Have a nice week

This frame is a pleasant mix of vegetation and rocks, of township and sea..!
The fine elevated point of view gives a different impression of the place, a well composed presentation with fine details...

It reassures me that you went up there with a cablecar, although I know that you are also an avid climber...
Vertiginous view of a place where not many TE members are venturing, I wonder if you could not have added a bit contrasts in the houses of the village...

Looks like a miniature setting...I am itching to do a tilt shift effect on it, but I think I'll leave it because the shot is marvelous, clear and colors re nice.

Wow, superb aerial view, Chris. Splendid colors on the sea and fantastic to observe how the town is squished downthere, finding its way to the shore. The boats speeding along the coast are a nice bonus.

Quite nice this aerial view from the cable car, Chris. Good details and vivid colors in this overview on the coastal scenery. All those houses seem to be quite densely crammed into the valley.
