Photographer’s Note
This was taken at Girimsa temple not too far from where I live. Not a very big temple, but nice nontheless. The character is Chinese, and means Gate (sounds something like Mun when pronounced). This is part of a larger board hanging at the entrance gate to the temple which translated to Gate of the Sky King. I really liked the way the gold was flaking away.
