Photographer’s Note
The air cleared last Saturday and for the first time in nearly 6 weeks there was blue sky (and I went crazy). This is looking down one of the main streets in Daegu (DaeDongNo) and it is as shot but for some sharpening.
The new construction is apparent all around but strangely because of the porch systems that are built into Korean apartment buildings this is ominously dark at night, almost no light escapes into the street. Considering this is South Korea there may be a master plan driving just that.

Alright Greg, I didn't know blue sky was such a rarity in some parts of the world. but I love this blue and the way you have captured it. its fres and vivid and very well captured. The modern city line is remarkable as well with all those buildings and roads etc

Hi Greg,
From all what I've seen on TE and confirmed by your note it's a rare vision to see a Korean city under such a nice blue sky, with this light and contrasted colors we can best appreciate how dense this urban landscape is.
Have a nice day,

Good evening Greg, the sky is with you, this sight of constructions and of traffic urban is superb. Very well realized and balanced. I regret the presence of the crane, but it was inevitable. Very beautiful work. Good evening Cordially Joel

Hi Greg,
Excellent vantage point for this lovely urban photo. The view down the busy street creates wonderful depth and the tall building contrast beautifully with the vibrant blue sky. Exceptional details seen in this modern architecure.

Great, clear, sharp and detailed cityscape Greg. On top of that, the color is what I like most about the photo. The different colored buildings against that blue sky look great. Could almost be a shot of Boston... ;O)
Sorry, had to do it.
Great work.
Nice catch.
Enjoy while you can, you'll miss it when it's gone...

Hi Greg,
The crisp clear shot has such a smooth and pure look that one can hardly believe that this city has any pollution problems. I like the POV, with the road curving in the foreground. The clarity of detail on the building facades is fascinating. Fine work, Greg...later.

I see this picture has already received quite a few accolades, and well it should. Every city should be so fortunate as to have such colorful, clear and detailed photography representing it. Very very nice!
