Photographer’s Note
Korea has a foot in each of two centuries, one with made indusytial smoke stacks and high rise apartment buildings, the other with mound alters and traditional architecture. These two centureis are 500 years apart and Korean culture is feeling the strain between traditional and modern.

There is nothing special about the mound that I can see ...
Infact I'd say Daegu lives up to its reputation as a very dull city.
The chimney on the side of the apartment building could be an interesting focus. You don't see those in Seoul very often.

There's a lot of detail in this shot Greg, but I think that ht ecomposition could be improved upon as I find it a bit cluttered. Maybe a vertical shot would have been better here - more of the mound, the appartment buildings in the center (and noit the ones of the edges) and more of the trees. You could also have gotten the branches and the mound in focus and left the appartment block as bokeh. Nice exposure by the way!
February is looking pretty work free to me. Daegu is a good possibility!

This is one thing that made me sad about Korea. I love the older traditional style, and wish that somehow they could have hung onto that look, even with the newer buildings. I'm wondering what is at the front of this picture, because I've never seen something that looked like this before (?) Anyway, a great idea!! A very clear picture, and your sky is SENSATIONAL!!
