Photographer’s Note
I took this picture last weekend while strolling the World Heritage Site Hwasong Fortress in Suwon. This is the modern part of the city on the outside of the wall. The "spot" in the sky is an advertising balloon, can't really decide the effect of it on the shot. Let me know what you think.

The spot looks liek someone has kicked a football up into the sky and you have captured it mid flight.
The part of this photo i really like is the sunset against the chursh towards the back of the photo. The way the cross is a shilouette agaist the sun is realy great.
I have an idea for a woskshop using this photo however I think that this image may be too small.
If you are interested in seeing my thoughts and woudl like to send me the original to play with please feel free to get in touch.

The spot, to me, is a kind of pollution to YOUR SKY. If this was my own picture, I would take it off.
Very good backlight photo for me to learn, and appreciate.

You have a beautiful sky here, but for me, the spot is distracting, especially since we can't see what it is. It looks like a mistake. You could also crop off some of the bottom of this shot, because the interest is in the sky.

Hi Mark, I generally like this shot, the colours are good, so is the exposure. Your title indicates that the image is about the house of God, and IMO the church is lost in the image. You may consider croping off on the right just to the right of the yellow sky and at the bottom, then darken the foreground and brighten the church, the cross on the left is also competing for attention so you may consider cloning it out, same with the baloon.

Hello Mark,
As I was telling you right before, this one is the one with a special thing: a black moon (is it not?)!
I like the contrast between the old church and these white (grey?) "new" buildings that seems to surround it and maybe take it's place.

I really like your picture. I was living in Suwon until recently. How do you retain the quality when posting photos on this site? Mine tend to lose clarity when I post them.
