Photographer’s Note

but only much much shorter...

Hwasong Fort is a 18th century structure built by King Jeongjo to protect the city of Suwon. Found in the northern part of the city, this UNESCO site is difficult to miss. Several of the roads drive through it and the walls and towers are easily visible. At night various gates and towers are lit up by flood lights making it easy to spot locate the fort. The southern hill is an excellent place to watch the sunset - dress warm if you wait during the winter.
