Photographer’s Note
Going back in time abit today. This picture taken in Daegu. Perhaps someone can name this place. I can't remember if it was a college or a university. I was impressed by the landscape and upkeep.
THANK YOU TO GREG FOR HIS HELP! Please read Gregs critique for more information on this place.

Hello Karen,
I like the blend of brown and yellow tones in the foreground, which makes an interesting and pleasing contrast with the rather brutalesque architecture in the background. The overhanging branches help relieve the grey and featureless sky. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Karen -
There is a soft quality to this photo that puts me in mind of some of the late medieval landscape painters, the Brueghels in particular. In that respect, I find the stark and sharp bare branches in the upper left to be jarring, but I can appreciate their presence as framing.
Best,
Dan

Hi Karen,
An interesting building, but what I like most here are the different lines across the dry, yellow grass formed by the various paths and roads. All the small bushes are also an essential part of this composition.

Hi, Karen.
Wonderful angle and light management, spectacular and unusual composition. A perfect blend of very different elements linked together by color, which is the trait d'union in this shot, I would say. Pretty good! And thanks for your recent visit to my Ouray Livery Stable, much appreciated.
Have a good day, see ya soon.
Hugs,
Fulvio.

Hi Karen,
Your a long way from home here but it appears that latitude are similar for this early winter look of dried brown grass and contrasting dark green shrubs.
I knew Greg could hang a name of this lovely architecture.

Hi Karen
There is lots of detail here but mainly the walkways provide converging lines that lead the eye towards the university building. Nice use of the branches as framing.

The spherical bushes and writing testify to the attention given to the landscaping. The building looks a little austere, but is softened by the surrounding vegetation. Interesting look back into your archive.

Hi Karen:
This landscape is simply well presented. Despite the gray day, various colors contrast each other, especially the green compared to brown.
No doubt that there is majesty in this place, with a pleasing composition.

hello Karen
Very impressive landscape of university campus, even with soil in orange color dotted with greens. The winter looks mild without snow.
How we wish university in Malaysia has this kind of weather!

HI Karen
The grounds were indeed well kept showing off this architecture. What catches my eye the most is the water tower, something we don't see much of any more.
A good shot

Hello Karen
Nicely manicured garden with rounded hedges. Well done with the framing with the branches from top left. Light does not seem to be the best, but the exposure is quite nice. Good one from your archives
