Photographer’s Note

Some towerblock apartments in Daegu, a city of 2.75 million, in the south eastern part of Korea.

"Daegu, also spelled Taegu, officially called Daegu Metropolitan City, is the fourth largest city in South Korea (2,752,670), after Seoul, Busan, and Incheon.[1] It is the capital of Gyeongsangbuk-do province, although it is not legally part of that province. As with South Korea's other metropolitan cities, Daegu's government reports directly to the national government."

It is a quite good photo, with nice colours and very sharp. The perspective also gives a nice view of the buildings. But what is really very interesting is what you say on the note. The city belongs to a province but reports to the national government. Very curious system.

Olá Chris, I have to admit that it's not an atractive architecture, but your picture is. Great angle looking upwards with a splendid silhouetted line against the beautiful blue sky.

Hi Chris,

A succinct and useful note informs your photo; the colors are vivid, and the perspective very effective to accentuate the height of the towers. In the three or four times I've visited Korean, I had never heard of Daegu. It's good to know about it now. It's interesting how they've used such vivid colors to highlight the building.
