Photographer’s Note
Last Saturday, i managed to break my cellphone. I found an LG Service Center who promptly fixed my phone in an hour and for a low price. II seem to remember breaking my phone in Britian and having to wait a couple of weeks, and I paid a lot more.
I thought this would be a nice opportunity to capture an alternative craftsman, because, in my opinion he is and his fingers were nimble and fast.
He didn't mind me snapping away 30 or so pictures.
The title Dream Service come from his shirt, and I guess it was a dream service because it was quick and efficent!

Hello Will,
Good shot capturing the 'artist' in work. really these are delicate instruments which need a lot of experience to handle.
I cant decide if this would have looked good in color, but The sharpness and clarity are good.
Nice Work and TFS - Vikram

Hi Will,
good shot cut on the hands of the artisan and good choice of B&W. Well the sharpness despite the activity in movement.
Well done

I wish we had more places like that, and cheap, here in the USA. It is so expensive to repair anything, no matter how absurb it is that is cheaper (not that is cheap) to buy a new one. Magnificent comp, Will. I'm looking forward to seemore of your work, what I've seen so far is very good. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Enrique

Totally agree with your decision to go with black & white here. The central focused composition along with the spacing of all the various parts of the phone really make this shot stand out for me. Oh, and the great strong but careful grip he seems to have, is a great touch too!

Hi Will
I like the narrow dof, tight framing & tonal range in this superb b&w study of daily life & manual labor. Well done!

Hi Will,
Nice note with this picture. The hands and all the parts are sharp, his shirt blurry, very good. The B&W fits this handcraft kind of work but the modern electronics don't go with that. That contrast is different. TFS, Gilbert
