Photographer’s Note
"The first Indian settlers in Singapore arrived with Sir Stamford Raffles as assistants and soldiers back in 1819. In the late 19th century, many more Indian immigrants arrived to find work, be it as labourers to build roads or to take up key positions in the civil service.
Today, Little India is the focal point of Singapore's Indian community. Its spice-scented streets beckon you to a treasure trove of silverware, brassware, ethnic jewellery, jasmine garlands and silk saris. From the large Tekka Centre to the small provision shops, Little India is packed with interesting things to discover."

Wonderful colours and an interesting contrast between the Indian shops and the tower blocks behind them. The Woodlands restaurant is not far from here - I thoroughly recommend it :-)

Very colourful image that reflects well the Indian culture, especially the predominating safran colour and the huge bollywood poster. Good note too. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice colorfull houses, I remember having seen them some years ago, just it seems to me you saturated a bit too much...

Great colours here Rui. I like this point of view of houses and specialy jong girl in the middle and on pano also. ;-)
Goed composition and I think you should use straighten tool for tilting-correction and maybe crop the left side a little bit.
Regards, Don.

Very saturated but nicely so. The colors are really attractive and gives a glow to the neighborhood. It's a nice mix of colors, awnings, signs and advertisements. Perhaps it needs a little rotation and maybe the NeatImage made it too smooth. But the colors themselves have good implied textures to them alone and make up for loss of other textures. Nice job.

An interesting capture, but a bit oversaturated, though I do like the effect. the contrasting colours mak ethe scene vibrant.

Hello Rui,
The reason why I like this picture so much is because it looks more like a naive painting which I would gladly hang up on my wall. Well done - Izzet Keribar

When i saw the thumbnail, i thought it is a painiting. Nice shot. The colors in the picture though look oversatureated and not very natural, nevertheless, it has given that paitining like effect. If it was not for that girl, the handrails and the car, it will be difficult to say it is painting or the photo.
