[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yet another shot from the Black Eyed Peas concert here last month.

I went to the wide end of the 24-70mm lens I was using for this shot as the band had made their way right to the front of the stage, and I didn't want to risk losing my spot by moving further back. I ducked down a bit to manage some of the stage lighting as a backdrop to the Peas.

yeah, excellent shot, not quite my music, but i really like the pov from below. well handled exposure with great sharpness and
nice colors. i have been doing a few concert-shots too the last weeks, more for my personal "pleasure", with a crappy little
point-and-shoot olympus - jeez, i really would have had fun with your set-up, just that the 5D would have been a bit too
big to smuggle in, as cams are normally not allowed at concerts around here.
maybe i will upload a few of mine (Genesis, Foo Fighters, Fish, Saga) the next couple days too. well done & best wishes, thor.

Well, if there was a photo that was going to convince me that the BEP's weren't totally ridiculous, this would be the shot so far...barring naked Fergie photos...I guess. The perspective is very strong and gives the stars a overpowering presence. Somehow the fluid lines of the backdrop add a sense of movement to the photo.

The fact that the picture was taken from below gives a special dynamism here, and I find it also well exposed although there are so many strong direct lights.

Great shot with the 3 centred ion the stage! I love the way you captured it from below which is a bit different than the usual. Great light, colors and details! Great work, Dan!

Wow....I'm really impressed with this series of concert photos....you were obviously at the front of the crowd. Looking through your previous postings, I must say that they have a real buzz to them. You've really done a great job in capturing the music. The POV to this one is dramatic and the colours and movement do justice to the show. Very well done.

This is excellent work here Dan. I LOVE backround stage lights included in these type of events. The background really makes this photo stand out. Everytime that I have good stage lights in the background I lick my chops. Great job taking this shot in such a tight spot (you probably had to crawl over a bunch of fans to get to this angle).
