[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An Sunday evening, 6:20pm, view from the field near Kranji War Memorial Park, the sunset is as usual, totally different from what you see in this picture.

Purposely using fast shutter speed (1/800) and small aperture size(F8, min size aperture for my camera) the silhoutte of trees is nicely presented.

The flare on picture is the sun itself.. unavoidable. I try to minimize the flare, try to hide it "behind the trees" but failed.

Post Processing: crop + Increase color saturation + increase red channel

Hi JJ
This image seem a little "disturbed" with the over present of the trees that creates the silhouttes. But it gives a very glommy feeling to the late evening sky.
Improvement : using PS, using the selective color (red) to improve the warm red color.

You show us a very beautiful evening shot, the wonderful and coloured sky between the silhouettes of the branches give a very lovely composition.

This is actually a good shot....perhaps the trees had overshadowed the attractive sky. Less branches and leaf will be even more interesting. The main issue is the darker part had dominated most of the picture...you can try a shoot with vertical...It may really change everything even the composition will be different too.
