Photographer's Note
7.45a.m. - Liang Seah street is short with both sides lined with eating places ranging from the cheap to the more expensive restaurants. It is still early in the morning so the place was still quiet and deserted. I was passing through this Japanese restaurant and found this corridor interesting and decided to take a shot. When I looked at the preview I was surprised to see this condition and effect. I later found out the reason, but I would let you ponder on it first.
PP – Adjusted the level slightly.

Hi Aloysius. The effect you captured reminds me of the reflection off a pool. I give up what is it? But the depth is outstanding. Nicely done Aloysius.

Hi Aloysius. When I first looked at this I thought it must have been the effect of relections from the glass windows, but if in fact it is a mist, my three guesses would be (1) the mist from those fans onto which jets of water are blown to keep the patrons cool at Singapore restaurants; (2) early morning mosquito fogging in the street; (3) somebody nearby starting up the charcoal fires for the sartees. Am I close with any of those? Cheers . . . David

This "misty" light gave really a great effect to the corridor. Nice work! Regards!

Hi Aloysius, A nice perspective view of the Corridor. You have done a good job to capture the reflection on the glass to show the view down the street. Although it is early in the morning. The mist makes me feel the hot air in the area. A nice shot with well chosen PoV and DoF.

Hi Aloysius,
A great POV and DOF here, as we are able to see so far into the frame. The orange tile effect is very pleasing, as are the window reflections. There is certainly an ethereal effect here, but unless its mist or smoke, I am perplexed. In any event, a most interesting shot taken from an unusual perspective.

You should be the mist's explanation in the main note, it's worth it !
... and it gives a great interest to your composition.
Finally, a kind of experience !
