Photographer’s Note

I have posted already an image of Arab Street in the rain. This photo was taken on the same excursion as i sheltered under the awnings and pointed my camera across the street. I admit that the trio could have made a better composition but when cars whiz past, one hasn't got the prerogative to wait until everything is spot on. Plus, it was the rain as much as the people that took my interest. I also liked the look of this compact little shop.

Hello Klaudio,
I like this photo: you managed to capture the rain and the general atmosphere of the moment! A motorbike in the FG helops to see the perspective better and adds a good sense of depth. Maybe the crop is a bit too tight at the bottom... but I understand the situation very well because I had to face the same situations a lot of times when taking photos in the streets!

Hello Klaudio,

A fine silk veil hangs across the window, and we are looking through it, and counter to Omar Khayyam's words, "There was the Veil through which I might not see..."
The tight cropping and the presentation of the two stories creates a vertical diptych. I like it very much. Is this the monsoon season in Singapore?

It's such a simple photograph ... but it's so nice ! YOu have shown us a rainy day and I like the drops of rain falling and the different co,ors of the silk. Well done !

You had very nice and out of ordinary pictures of Singapore! I like a lot this one, the rain was very well captured and you found such a nice shophouse! The rain feels like silk as well.

Hi Klaudio

You have captured a great daily life shot. I love all the colourful silk. I know what you are saying about the positioning of the people but it shows a very realistic shot of them in the act of shopping.
