On the background, you can see the statue of Sir Stamford Raffles, the founding father of Singapore....

Beautiful image and excellent choice of B&W. There are lovely contrasts, an interesting composition and a good sharpening.

I think this is a great image - the best you've posted to date - very well done indeed.

The statue of Sir Stamford and the bird are what makes this for me - the bird in particular as it lifts the whole image, adds real interest. The small branch top left is another bonus.

Deserves far more points than it will get.

Hi Vijayabaskar,
The idea of using the lamp in a b/w composition is very good and I like its central placing with the pigeon and the spring of foliage in the corner. Very inspiring work. I do have a concern with the background which I find rather distracting - a blurring of which would emphasize the lamp more. A very good image all the same.
