Photographer’s Note
Another shot from Singapore Zoological Gardens, and again- one of my favorite animals from the zoo... the White Lion.
I've posted numerous other shots of White Tigers, but this is my first in B&W.
I hope you like the shot...

Hi Dan,
Pretty good as a B&W too. Actually, it emphasizes your main subject which is the white tiger. Very good contrast highlighted also by the black border. Well done.
Cheers,
Renier

Cool Dan, great use of b/w and excellent composition. The shot is also tak sharp. It would have been nice to have that grass out of the shot, but that's a tiny point :)
Awesome.

a perfect BW choice, dan as it 'endorses' the white tiger fully well.

The white tigers are such beautiful animals that it's impossible to wrong - there is something charismatic about them. I prefer the ones in colour because there you really get a sense of the unusual white colour of the tigers, whereas in the black & white photo it's not obvious that you are not looking at a regular tiger. Great work though!

Hi Dan. That's a great catch with the tiger checking you out. They sure are beautiful animals. I think I might prefer it without the unfocused element on the right. Beautiful shot Dan.

Poor fella looks lonely sitting there in captivity. I think you could have ignored having to post this photo level Dan. I keep thinking of the lion's tilted head and wish he would tilt it just as they do in portrait photography. Then again if you were to tilt the whole photo a couple degrees to the left who would know. There seems to be little in the scene that would give it away other than the blurred wire or branch on the right. That could be cloned out! Thanks for sharing Dan! Only 449 more points until you make it up to 10,000!!! Keep going Dan!!

Hi, Dan.
Very clever use of the B&W and a unique image that only a powerful tele could provide. I like the way the tiger seems so peaceful and contemplative. Nice job!
Regards.

Hi Dan,
Realmente o tigre branco é um belo animal, imagem muito bem capturada e a escolha pelo preto e branco muito interessante.

Hello Dan,
You are right to like this animal, so rare and so imposing: I just love tigers, probably my favorite animal, and white ones are so rare. Very good picture.
Keep well - Izzet
