Taken in the Chinatown area of Singapore. Probably, they are getting ready for the mooncake (or the mid-autumn) festival which falls on the 15th day of the 8th Chinese month.
This is celebrated to mark the end of the harvest season.

Nice constras of colors and perfect framing. More light (like sun) and a light sub-exposition would add a lot to that shot, with more striking colors. But given that we do not choose what apears in front of us, I would have taken that shot anyway!
