Photographer's Note

11.05a.m - This time I was in China town and was waiting for a friend for brunch. While waiting I walked around and saw this interesting windows with the items of their menu written on it. This restaurant is situated along Trengganu Street. So it seems that customers should make their choice before going upstairs. Here is a translation for the benefit of our TE friends. Incidentally, we did not patronize this shop.
From left to right:
1. 5 spices yam cake.
2. BBQ meat steamed rice pancake roll
3. 3 flavours crispy tart
4. Chicken glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf
5. BBQ pork dumpling
6. Paper wrapped chicken
7. Steamed rice pancake roll in bag
8. Crystal prawn dumpling
9. Crispy hot plate meat
10. Beijing fried dumpling

What a dynamic and colourful shot you have rendered here. The colours are amazing and the detail so clear. I love the symmetry too of the shutters, both upper and lower. The colours all seem to blend together to create a festive mood. A most enjoyable shot, well rendered. Well done.

Hi Aloysius. That sounds good! I think there is a Food category which you could put this in. But all of those repeating signs make for a great photo subject. The light was good too. Well seen Aloysius.

all is well composed.
i didn't know that were the menu on the venetian blinds! thanks for the translation. the next time that i will be in Singapore i will can go in that restaurant and ask dishes without the menu!

Original and interesting menu perspective, I don't remember having seen anything like this anywhere, so it's a clever idea from the restaurant's owner, lunch's ahead in Europe as I write so I'll go for the "9. Crispy hot plate meat", how much extra is DHL delivery ?
