Kingfisher II, a photo from Central Area, Central

Photographer's Note

Another capture of this small but brightly coloured kingfisher at the Singapore Botanical Gardens on a Saturday afternoon. There were several others, mostly with tripods trained on this bird which was busy fishing under his perch on the reeds. Filtered to remove some noise especially in the green area.

Hi Murray. I love these birds, we often have theme around home though not quite as colourfull and very camera shy! Excellent capture, good sharpness and detail and pleasing colours. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Murray, A very nice capture of nature & beautiful sharp colours, excellent DOF & well framed, I had a nightmare trying to get a photo of a Kingfisher near my brothers home in the south of England & it still got away, TFS kind regards Wilson.
