Photographer’s Note
A slightly different point of view for a sunrise from under a bridge, on the Singapore River.
Taken approximately 20 minutes after my previous posting of "Dawn at No.1 Fullerton".
I liked the way the morning light shone through the gap in the bridge, and resulted in the deep blue reflection off the water. Complimented by the suns rays bouncing off the rails of the bridge and onto the support beams under the bridge.
I hope you like it...

This certainly is one of the more unique sunrise shots on here. And I really like it. It caught my eye instantly while moving through the gallery because I wondered what all the lines were. You found quite an attractive place with a graphic appeal. The perspective down the center of the two bridges and the mix of the straight lines and the curving lines of the supports adds a real interesting mix. It has a mix of speed and grace, the straight lines speeding to the focal point and the curving lines slowly and gracefully making their way there. And the light just adds to that as does the soft water that it so lightly jumps over. Was it a long exposure? The water seems to have a nice soft motion blur to it. Excellent capture Dan.

Hi Dan
You've captured an amazingly striking shot here - what a sucessful trip out you had that day!! The symmetry works really well and draws the eye through to the back of the shot. The play of the light on the bridge is beautiful, and you've managed the exposure well over the shot to give a very balanced composition. Well captured!

It was really hard for me to realise what this was without the note! Superb colours, and nice symetry too!
Definately a favorite photo!

Hi Dan
the thumbnail definitely does not do a good justice to this photo of pristine beauty and symmetry
You are right .... even I love playing around with slow shutter speeds .... but your photos are much more sharper and full of colours .... very well taken
cheers ..... sarju

Hey Dan,
Awesome...more light, more color, well composed! This is better! Not bad for a jetlagged photographer...you have an eye dude!

Unbelievably interesting photo, at first I was looking at it with my eyes wide open not knowing what it is :).
Great visual effect I like the symmetric composition.
